Globe's SP80PL Floor Planetary Mixer has a powerful, heavy duty motor that is gear driven and heat treated with hardened steel gears and shafts. The SP80PL floor mixer is built to last with its rigid, cast iron body. Easy to clean, you can attach or remove the 80 Quart stainless steel bowl which can be cleaned in a sink or dishwasher. A sturdy hand lever on the body column raises and lowers the bowl as well as locking in place at the top and bottom positions. The mixer also features a removable bowl guard made of high-quality stainless steel. This bowl guard is also easy to attach and remove for easy cleaning. Even more important is the safety benefit of the interlocks. The bowl guard and bowl hand lever are interlocked and the mixer will automatically shut down when the bowl is lowered, the guard is open or is not properly latched. This high volume mixer also includes a power bowl lift, bowl truck and front mounted digital timer and controls. The Globe SP80PL mixer is now equipped with digital electronic controls for improved reliability and ease of service. The new low-voltage controls have 4 times the life cycle of the previous mechanical switches! The precise-control digital timer provides greater accuracy and will pause and then restart when the mixer is turned off/on.
